The philosophy of the Ferndale Baseball League as well as the philosophy of the League itself is to give the children an opportunity to enjoy the game of competitive baseball. The desire to win is great, but the duty of the league is to stress upon the child good sportsmanship, fair play, honesty, and loyalty shall prevail above all. To mold a good citizen of tomorrow from the child of today is the league's goal.
Congratulations to Moxham Mobil and Coach Tim Sobecky for winning the 2007 Major Division Championship. Moxham Mobil won both halves of the season with a combined 17-3 record. Great job to Coach Sobecky, his players and his coaches.
Coach Sobecky's teams have now won championships in the Knee-Hi, Intermediate, and Major divisions of Ferndale Baseball.
